AutoCAD LT 2008 - Change Case Not Working

I have a single AutoCAD LT 2008 user who lost the ability to change the case on text in a drawing. Normally, he would highlight text, say it was uppercase, right click to choose change case and he would select lowercase and it would do as designed. Now, it simply deletes the highlighted text.

We've done a repair install with no result. Anyway to restore or fix this functionality?

Thanks!
Brian

This is MTEXT, correct?
Is the problem in one file or ALL files for this user? If it's only one file, post it here for review.
If it's ALL files, Can you post screenshots or a video of the process?

Here is a screen shot of what he is doing. He is the ONLY one with the problem but not many people use this feature. I still tried it on a few PC's and it worked.

Do they get a prompt about a missing font when they open the file (or did they permanently turn that pop-up off)?

Based solely on your screenshot you have UPPERCASE selected and I only see uppercase letters.

No promopt on the fonts.

The screen shot was mainly to show the highlighted text and his option he chooses...if he choses LOWERCASE, it simply deletes the highlighted text and doesn't change to lowercase.

It's either a font issue (not all fonts have upper and lwoer case), or something else: a DWG instead of a JPG would help diagnose it.

Otherwise you are looking at cloning a working PC setup to this PC.
