AutoCAD LT 2007 SP2 Open File dialog box is blank

I have a user with AutoCAD LT 2007 SP2.  Whenever he clicks on File > Open... the drop-down list to browse to another directory is blank.  It doesn't show any local or network drives.  He can open files just fine from Windows Explorer.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

My drop down list is BLANK when I try to open a file from AutoCad LT 2007

I can open a file from the standard windows browser (double click)

I uninstalled the program and re-installed.  Same thing.

The file open drop down list works in:  Excell,  Outlook, Solidworks

Windows 7.  Been using for over 3 years on this computer no issues.

Any ideas?

Hello

Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD Forums !

1) Please UN-Install

2) Reboot

3) Delete remaining Files into <Autodesk AutoCAD LT 2007> folder inside "C:\Program..."

4) Install with Click on the "SETUP.exe": Execute as Admin

5) Test  ...

Please remind that versions 2006/2007/2008/etc are not supported AT ALL on Windows 7 !

In the past, your Windows 7 has not (I imagine) some Windows Updates that you have today !?

So maybe the problem is here !?
