Autocad lt 1i will not open drawings opened in Autocad 13

It seems that once my newly purchased autocad lt. 13 opens up a drawing created by an other co-worker in autocad Lt. 11, it automaticly converts to 13 and now the person using 11 can no longer open the file. Any ideas what I should do?

Save back to 11. If this is going to be a constant, in the Options dialog you can set it to save as 11 all the time.

Regards,

DJ

I hate to seem stupid, but I don't have a clue as to how to save as 11 all of the time. Is there an options tab?

Tools > Options > Open and Save tab

In the SAVE AS field, roll down the SAVE AS list and select the version you want at SAVE time.  It will stay.
