I have the coordinates of a start point, from that start point I captured the angles from a traverse boundary and distances to multiple other points. How can I set up a csv file that when I run in Autocad 2014 it will generate lines from that start point to the captured points?
here is an example of the data I have, I would just like to know how to set up the csv file.
Start Point: 1000;1000
- Captured distance to SS1: 20 ,Angle From Traverse boundary: 45
- Captured distance to SS2: 30 ,Angle From Traverse boundary: 50
- Captured distance to SS3: 40 ,Angle From Traverse boundary: 55
- Captured distance to SS4: 50 ,Angle From Traverse boundary: 60
Hi, you can try the attached file and see if thats what your looking for. Change the file type from .txt to .scr I used PLINE rather than LINE because it makes it a lot easier.
