AutoCad 2014LT save as 2012

Trying to save a drawing as 2012 but only have an option for 2010 and older.  2010 tells me there are "customer objects not supported" and will not save.

I need 2012 so other users can open my drawing.

there is no 2012 .dwg format

the .dwg format changes every 3 years

autocad 2010, 2011, 2012 share the same format which is 2010

autocad 2013, 2014, 2015 share the same format which is 2013

2010 and 2012 are the same dwg format. That is why you only have the choice of 2010. If there are objects in the dwg that will not save you can use the -EXPORTTOAUTOCAD command to knock them back to objects that 2010 can read.

Newer AutoCAD versions open older version files, as you know (if not, now you do). Remember that and you never have to sweat knowing which exact SAVEAS option you have to pick. Easy Peasy!
