Autocad 2011 LT opens a file then close

Hello, I have an issue with my computer.

Whenever I open a file, it stats loading it, the file appear (ligns etc etc), but then it simply closes.

The program however stays open.

It doesn't do it with all the files I have, mainly the one which have objects created with Archicad.

I am the only one at the office have those issues with those files.

What can I do?

How are you opening the file?  Windows Explorer or through the OPEN command?

Does it work to open the files with the RECOVER command?

Other users can open those files no problem?  What is different on your workstation?

But I tried via recovering the file, and tada, it worked. Thanks.

Hello there, I have the same problem, and I am getting a little bit tired of recovering the same file every time I want to open it.

What should I do? save-as something else?

Hello again.

As I didn't get any answers, I tried copying everything onto a new file.

The problems stayed.

When I recovere the file, it find 36 errors, which it says to be resolved.

What can I do?

Use WBLOCK instead of Copy/Paste.

Then run the AUDIT or open with Recover from the Big Red A drawing utilities menu.

Does that help the file?
