autocad 2010 slowly again

Hi.

I'm using AUTOCAD 2010 LT .

My PC : HP Z200 workstation.

CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R)        X3430  @ 2.40GHz  2.53GHz.

RAM: 16GB

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit - service pack 1

Graphics card : NVIDIA Quadro K2000

After starting autocad 30-40 minutes later program comes up very slowly ,   cursor moving very very slowly.

And it's going on for 20-30minutes.

why?

Thankyou.

Is this a new problem with your old software?
What has changed (on your PC or network) since this started?
Does the problem still occur if you unplug from your network/Internet and test AutoCAD for 20-30 minutes?

Sound like you have a virus or malware on your computer to me based on your brief description (and your protection software can't stop it).

A problem that appears 30-40 minutes after a program starts is either malware/virus, a network/system action starting, or in that time you open and close dozens of huge files and trigger some sort of software memory leak.

I seriously doubt the last one is the problem, so start by eliminating the first ones as causes first. There is nothing inside AutoCAD/LT2010 that triggers a slow down after 30-40 minutes of use.

Stupid question time:

How much free space on the hard drive?

How much RAM is in use while the program is starting?

When was the last time the TEMP folder used by AutoCAD was cleaned out?

370 GB free space on harddisk

Use 5 GB RAM while starting

None
