Attribute editing

Why is it when you hit the tab button, this dialog box works different from every other dialog box int he computing industry.

Instead you have to click the thing with the mouse.

Thanks.

we have an enhanced attribute with two tags that each hold a value.  i cannot tab between the values.  instead all the tab button does is cycle thru the verious options with the specific tag i have highlighted.

Yes, it's an odd-ball. Always has been, still is.
Offer up a suggestion on how to do that here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=1109794

Never noticed that before, but generally we use the attedit command for editing attributes as it is simpler and quicker, especially for simple blocks such as section marks. Generally only use the enhanced attribute editor when we need to change properties of attributes, not just their values
