Archstyle.shx font style

I have recently been asked by a new client of mine to adhere to his company's standard drawing sheet and use Archstyle.shx as the font style. Problem is I cannot find it anywhere. Any ideas???

Ask the client to provide you will all the client's
standards requirements: don't you think?

Otherwise, browse the web, find many fonts with this name,
hope it is the one and you don't tick off the client if it
is not.

This particular client does not use a computer, thus he has asked me to produce this setof drawings for him.

I have looked at the web but had no luck in locating the desired SHX file. Frustrating or what.

James,

This is one of the greatest mysteries of the world!

The Author did a brilliant job of creating this font and then by some
fickle finger of fate disappeared off the face of the planet.

P.S. possibly a divorce!

It is still out there if you look hard enough!

Look here

http://204.101.252.14/library/fonts.html

Find several architectural fonts and ask your client if any of them are acceptable. Then use it.

I used to have archstyle.shx but can not find it in my archives. Must have been a long time ago.

Mark Crowley is still around and we've talked about updating
his work to Unicode, but I haven't had the time.

I think you need to search for archstyl.shx, not Archstyle.shx.

Thank you very much for your help. I was searching with too many parameters as you suggest - one too many "e"s.

I have the font file, I loaded it into Auto-CADD LT 2021 but it does not show up correctly.  Any ideas.

What doesn't show up correctly, we cannot see your screen, can you post a screen-shot so we can see the problem?

No image. An image attached to an email response will not show here.

Did you install the font or just put the file in the folder?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
