aperture box

hi, i have AutoCAD lt 2006, when a work in model space(regular) not model in paper space... my aperture box doesn't appear, but when i pass a line it is high lighted ,, how can i fix this,,, in my option box of drafting , my aperture box doesn't appear in the setting window,,, please help me ! thank you
p.s. i can work with my aperture box in model/paper space only .....

Is this a problem in one file, all files, new files?
the command you seek is APERTURE, type it and change the setting: explained
in Help.

hi, it happens in every file i open ,, i have tried to change the aperture size but it only makes it bigger in my model/space ,, but in my ordinary model space (fist tab)it still doesn't appear. it is invisible ,, i see the cursor but i soon as i enter the model space, it disappears,
