ACADLT trial download/set up problems

I downloaded a trial version of ACAD LT today. When I tried to run the .exe file, the following message appeared:
C:\Program files\Autocad_LT_2009_English_Win_32bit.exe is not a valid Win 32 application
Any suggestions appreciated.

I'd suggest trying the download again, it may not have been completed
entirely.

Thanks Wander. I had the same thought. Same thing happened the second time.

Does the download page list the file size that you're supposed to end up
with, and is there a discrepancy between what you got?

Good question. I didn't notice a file size in the download page which is no longer on my screen.

I've given up on the download. Requested a CD. BTW, ACAD help line no help whatsoever. Directed me to the discussion group. Thanks for your help Wanderer.

Get a download manager and use it: lots of good
quality freebies out there.

Sorry I couldn't have been more help.

Dean might have a good idea with the download manager. I use one at home
when I'm downloading large betas, etc. in case they get interrupted (I
can't recall what it's called off the top of my head).
