ACAD LT 2013 PEDIT grip menu gone

I've been able to modify polyline verticies by hovering over a grip and a menu will appear with options to add/remove vertex, etc. Now the menu does not show up. It happens on old drawings from several years ago that I've had to dig up, as well as brand spanking new drawings.

Is there a setting for the menu that needs to be turned on?

Thanks much in advance. mpp

Off the top of my head I cannot think of a Variable.

How about under Options, Selection tab. Anything there help?

And does the same thing happen if you highlite a Dim or Line? i.e. do the smart grip actions not appear?

I've looked under OP drafting and selection tabs and can't find anything. Doesn't mean it's not there, I could be missing it.

I do not get smart grip actions for any entity - lines, dims, plines, etc. I once did... not sure what changed or what I did to make them go away.

Perhaps I should try a repair on my installation?

Just found it in ACAD HELP menu in doing a search for GRIPS

command is: GRIPMULTIFUNCTION

there are 4 options: 0, 1, 2, 3

Option 2 : Multifunctional grip options can be accessed via the grip menu displayed when you hover over a grip

That fixed it and got my grip edit menu back

Do a search for "commands for editing with grips" - the seocnd entry is a list of system variables. I have not gone through all of them.

Hope this info can be useful to someone else - thanks! mpp
