Acad lt 2008 upgrade

I am receiving two error messages in acad lt 2008

1. (on loading)
"Unable to load profile file. Some profile information saved in last
session may not be restored"

2. (after loading, when trying to access tool catalog.
"Unable to load tool Catalog. A required module is not registered properly."

Also, I cant move blocks into a new palette.

I have been using acad since version 10 (dos) and I have never had problems
upgrading until now.

I spent over an hour with an acad tech yesterday and he couldn't resolve
this.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Windows version?
Are you running in Windows as full admin?
Turn off anti-virus/firewall scanning?
Uninstall and reinstall LT2008 yet?
Using any add-ons?

Your error messages would seem to indicate an installation
issue.

I am having the same issues. I saw the reply to your original message and tried it. Nothing seems to help. Have you found a fix?

I appreciate your responce but I have had zero success with any support. I even called a reseller to try to get some info out of them. Now my properties window does not work properly. I am returning this product, 2006lt worked perfectly before this upgrade. I am going back to it.

Take a look at the AutoDesk Support Page. Fixed my problem in no time.
