2007 LT - Restarting CPU the support file search paths not found

When restarting the CPU the paths are not found but when I check the paths in OPTIONS the paths are correct. This occurs for only one drive (U drive). Others seem ok.
Have to re-browse and re-pick & apply the same path and then its fine until the CPU is shut-down again. It is not often that the CPU is shut-down.

Ideas to set the paths up and be permanent even after restarting?

What is drive U? if it powers down or disconnects when it's sleeping or
during a restart there is no cure in LT for it, that's a Windows or driver
issue.

It may help if you activate the drive BEFORE you start LT.
