2004 LT with Windows 7?

I'm still running 2004LT but have ordered a new computer with Windows 7 (64 bit) and XP mode enabled.  Will I be able to run my 2004 LT using XP mode?  Is there anything special that I need to do to make this work.  The new computer already set me back and updated AutoCad is beyond my means.

Many LT2004 users have had success just installing it as you would normally and running it just fine: the only glitch is the updates/patches seem to not work for some users (XP mode for the entire LT2004 setup seems to have helped them).

And a very small minority just have trouble with it all in any mode with Windows 64bit and have had to resort to buying Windows 7 32bit or Windows XP or Windows Vista: so be prepared for the worst case.
