2002 LT locks up

Working on a client's drawing that is in paper & model space. Everytime I use ID command and snap to intesection, it locks up. Please help if you know how to fix this problem. Thanks.

AUDIT command, answer yes to fix problems, see if that helps.

I tried the AUDIT command but it still locks up.

SAVEAS command, save the file as R12DXF, start a new AutoCAd session, IMPORT
the DXF file, SAVE, AUDIT again. That will fix the file for sure.

After that, if it still crashes, it's your PC: boot into safe mode, see if
it crashes anymore. Let everyone know.
