surface area

We have a need to be able to figure the surface area of parts on AutoCad LT 2008. an example would be we draw a part out of 2 x 2 x 1/8 thick angle iron 48" long. Is there a way on LT 2008 to figure the surface area of this or is there some kind of add on we could get to do this?

Are you looking for the top, bottom, ends, edges, all six sides?

No such ability in LT.
