pedit command - NOT WORKING

I have been trying to join curved lines; portions of circles, or arcs. they will happily turn into polylines but REFUSE TO JOIN. '0 segments added to polyline'

Sometimes they WILL but there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to whether they will or not.

The endpoints are on top of one another, no difference in z coords, I have tried moving the UCS to nearby. etc. etc. etc.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGHHHHHH!!!!!

Am tearing my hair out. GETTING REALLY UPSET and it is interupting my work flow.

I assume you have put in a fuzzy distance. Please wblock out the objects
and post them so we can investigate it.

End points need to be touching or you need to introduce a
'fuzz' factor to pick up the distance between the endpoints.

Simply being on top of each other is not enough to join
them.

ok... as this was a new and recent install of ACAD lt I had assumed that the settings would all be 'normalized' and set for best, most logical usage. so I had not gone into find the fuzz factor.

I went in and it seemed to tell me that it was set to 0.00000000 anyway... but I hit enter to confirm it and magically it joined the polylines...

talk about redundant, time wasting excercises... jeezy peeps!

Thank you for th answer though!

How do you introduce the "fuzz factor"? I looked in help, but I didn't see any variables that seem to do this.

Thanks. I see why I didn't notice it. That option only shows up when you use the "multiple" option. I was not using it. Who knows why that is not available when not using multiple.

For what ever reason I have frequently found the "FUZZ" input command doesn't always appear when the "multiple" option is selected in LT 2013.
