Help on new istall on WIN2000Pro and LT2000i

Hi,

I have a customer, who has run against a strange installation problem:

He has installed AutoCAD LT 2000i (English version) on a Windows 2000 Pro
(SP1) workstation. The problem is that when he tries to start AutoCAD, the
today window appears OK, but AutoCAD (or the OS) gives the following error
message:

AutoCAD LT Error Aborting:

FATAL ERROR:
Hung application. Can't keep executable running. C:\Program Files\AutoCAD LT
2000i\acdim.arx

Hope someone has seen this before and can suggest a remedy. We've un' and
reinstalled several times with no progress.
