Fix your files by running RECOVER command while in a blank AutoCAD session.
Then PURGE, then SAVE, then QUIT.
Start a new blank AutoCAD session, set up all your office system variables,
text style, dim style, layers etc, then insert the 'bad' file, then SAVE.
Then Explode the insert, PURGE ALL, then SAVE. Run AUDIT, answer yes to fix
any errors found, then SAVE.
Next, make sure you have the latest Video drivers installed for your system,
lower the resolution to at least 1024, and color depth to 256. Restart your
PC. Now experiment with the files. Also have all LT updates installed.
IF you have any TrueType fonts, or logos from outside sources that contain
TTF fonts you do not have, eliminate or substitute them for SHX fonts.
Also, what is your Pickbox Size? Smaller is better, and less running Osnaps
is another solution too.
Did I forget anything else, people?
