Anyone familiar with CdaGroupHelpdeskLicenceRepair?

We have a workstation that just quit letting AcadLT 2007 open...(as of Nov
18th)
In searching the error log it gives the message that the "License is not
usable, but can be fixed with CdaGroupHelpdeskLicenceRepair"
Anyone familiar with this?
We tried to just do a re-install but it still would not let it open.
Anyhelp or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Jen

Are you in a Citrix type environment?
What got installed or updated yesterday on the one PC?

Thank-you for the reply. 🙂

No not in a Citrix environment.
It's a stand alone system, and nothing new was installed or updated
yesterday.
The boss just came in and wanted to work on a drawing and after clicking the
icon it wouldn't open.
It had been working fine up until Saturday.

Have you tried doing a system restore back to before Saturday?

I found only one unresolved reference in full AutoCAD2007 discussion area
about this topic, no follow-up unfortunately.

Was there a system change, hardware add or delete, pc malfunction,
power-outage, or anything similar?

The only thing out of the ordinary was that the boss did some MS updates
(Hotfixes) Friday afternoon.
But he used his Acad all evening afterwards.
We did notice that the server had gone offline over the weekend so we think
there might have been something going on with the power.

We ended up completely uninstalling it, including registry references, and
then installing the Service Pack 2...
and finally it was able to get past the odd error message that was stopping
it from proceeding thru activation on the reinstall.

Very strange behavior but it appears we have it all back up and going again.

Thank you all so much for your help!

Jen
