Zoom to point in Land 2004

We are having a problem with the computer locking up when we zoom to point, in land 2004. Is anyone else having the same problem and is the something to fix it.
Thanks

Are you sure the point exists in the
database?

What OS? My bet would be 2000 pro.

I'm seeing a recurring pattern in this newsgroup and on our
current machines (2000 pro). Commands that deal with points; most notably List,
Export and List available points have a tendency to run extremely slow or lock
up on the Windows 2000 pro OS. Autodesk is aware of some or all of these
problems but are unable to duplicate the problems on their Win 2000
machines. Obviously not all people using the Win 2000 OS are experiencing the
problems and unless there is some link established between those who do have the
problems I don't believe a solution will be found.

I have no direct evidence of this but I believe that the
problem is in the reading of the MS Access point database.
