After I generate a new surface using terrain model explorer and send the entire drawing to someone else to work on they are unable to work with the surface. The message they get is that the surface is locked by me. I have tried to remove the lock file but it is still no help. In advance I would like to thank you for any help!
Look in the Projectname\DTM\Surfacename directory for the file
surfacename.lk# and delete it.
or
[Project][Project Manager] and select file locks and delete the lock from
there.

Thank you for your quick reply. I have tried your suggestion and am still not having any sucess. I am responsable for generating the surface before it is sent to our planning group, and once the surface is generated by me the others in the group cannot use the surface because of the lock. I have tried to remove the lock file but it still does not work. Do you have any other suggestions? Again thank you!!!!!!!
