Symbol Manager Pathing

I have searched this discussion group, and read what Karl said in the Customer Files group. But I'm still fuzzy about why my Symbol Manager is not finding a specific block.

Here's my scenario:
I have our Symbol Manager files on the server. And the SYMDATA path in the sdsk file is pathing to the server location. The server location is in my support file paths. But when I try to insert this one specific symbol I keep getting this error:
"pcor.dwg": Can't find file in search path:"
and then is lists every support path, including " N:\CADD STANDARDS\LDD_SUPPORT\data\SYMBOL MANAGER\Cogo\" where my symbol is. I've tried this pathing just to data, then to data\SYMBOL MANAGER as well.
The search path in my Point Settings > Insert is also directed to the server symbol manager\ or symbol manager\cogo\ (I've tried both).
Unfortunately, no one else in the office knows any more about Symbol Manager than I do, so I turn to you for advice.
Thank you.

Gina when you select the Manage button (upper right portion of the Symbol
Manager dialog box), does it show the nomenclature you've mentioned...
N:\CADD STANDARDS\LDD_SUPPORT\data\SYMBOL MANAGER\Cogo\
...or does it show something else in the Expanded File:, down in the lower
left portion of the Symbol Data Management dialog box?

from symbol manager click the edit button, there you can hit the block button and directly point to your block.

might want to verify that you can indeed traditionally insert the block in the 1st place.
