Swiches to model space on open

If I save a job in paper space, the next time I open the dwg. it changes to model space....

right after bringing up it looks like this... (note how it runs the tilemode command)
AutoCAD menu utilities loaded.
Initializing...
AutoCAD menu utilities loaded.
Loading AecCivilCogo...
Loading AecCivilDraft...
Loading AecTreeMgrAcad...
Loading AecSurfaceMgr...
Loading AecCivilDtm...

Loading AecCivilAln...
Command: TILEMODE
Enter new value for TILEMODE <0>: 1
Regenerating model - caching viewports.

does anyone know how to shut this off? I want the dwg. to open in the same space as i saved it.....thanks.

Hey erickson123;

As I did a Search of the Autodesk "vanilla" DG, I now see that you asked
about the same query there.

Did Kevin Simmons provide the answer necessary to fix this for you?

Yes,

Sometimes I'm not sure if I post in the correct location....I selected 'use last success plot settings' in options and that did it.

Thanks everyone!!

It's worth mentioning that in 2006, Land Desktop migrated menu palletts into workspaces. If you have workspaces set to automatically save changes, Tillemode is captured and reflected the next time you change workspaces.
