Survey, CivilDesign cui menus

In the Custom User Interface dialog box, I unloaded the partial menus "Survey.cui" and "CivilDesign.cui". I then ended my LDD session.
Later, I started a new LDD session. In the Custom User Interface dialog box, I loaded "Survey.cui" under the "Partial CUI Files" node. When I clicked on the "Menus" node of the newly loaded "Survey.cui", I could not see any menus. Same with the "CivilDesign.cui". I was expeciting to see menus such as "Data Collector" or "Cross Sections", etc.
Thinking I may have corrupted the CUI files, I then copied the original "CivilDesign.cui" and "Survey.cui" files from the network installation image folder "..\Program Files\Root\App\UserDataCache\Support" and tried to partially load them. I still could not see any menus under the "Menus" node of the partially loaded CUI's.
Am I doing something wrong?

I believe this is documented in this NG somewhere... If I remember
correctly, the CUI file is not correctly copied from the CD. Manually copy
the one from the CD.

I should also point out that when I highlight the workspaces "Survey" and "Civil Design" (the default workspaces defined in the Land.cui file) and examine the "Menus" node, I will see menu headings such as "Unresolved 1 (Group: SURVEY)" and "Unresolved 1 (Group: CIVILDESIGN)".
Removing these unresolved menus does not help.

Thanks Larry.
I'll try that. It's interesting that the menus would work on others' computers who had not unloaded the menus since the original install.

The problem was in fact with the CUI files installed by the network installer. I had to copy the original CUI files from the Civil Design and Survey CDs. They are located in the foler "D:\BIN\INSTALLER\PROGRAM FILES\LAND DESKTOP 2006\APP\USERDATACACHE\SUPPORT".

Actually, the problem was that I did not install the CivilDesign or the Survey module, and the Land Desktop 2006 install included a CivilDesign.cui and a Survey.cui that were empty (36k--maybe as placeholders in case users do install those modules).
Woops.
But there it is.

I find the files on the cd however where do you copy and paste them to in the program files???

thanks
