Sheet Set Manager

I'm using LDD 06. I use SSM thru Land Enabled Map, with fields and the works. ( I plot thru the publish dialog box b/c I read this was preferred.) I noticed though, my sheets are not updated unless I actually open the drawing in Map. In other words the plot does not show my recent revisions done in LDD 06.

And to add to this, when i preview before plotting, the preview is up to date, go figure!

What da ya think? I'm going to see if it does it plotting thru SSM instead of Publish.

Thanks,

Something does not sound right here: the model isn't updated or your fields?

If it is the model then you have a reference problem.

If it is the fields - this has occurred to me if I did some rearranging of
the SS. I have found that removing and reassociating layouts to SS fixes
this malady.

I've had the issue with the fields not updating (I'll try your fix). So your saying the fact my drawing (linework, model etc) is not updating is another issue. Where i come from we xref two base drawings and then place notes on top of the xrefs.

But why is the problem solved by opening the dwg in Map? And this can't be the fix b/c that defeats the purpose of the SSM.

(By the way, often I have one of the xrefs open in LDD 06 while I'm trying to plot in Map with SSM.)

Thanks for the reply.

..."(By the way, often I have one of the xrefs open in LDD 06 while I'm

prior to opening map. Other than a path issue - not saveing the background
prior to plotting can be the only reason you do not see your xrefs in the
most current state.

Try closing everything before you publish.

Somehow I missed the "Resave all Sheets" when you right click the sheet set name....

Thanks, your suggestions got me on the path to looking for something like "Resave all Sheets", although in the past I had tried plotting with the xrefs closed, and everything saved, and even tried to refresh the SS by closing/reopening, etc.

Thanks again.

They made their point rather well with me Joe.

That SysVar is now part and parcel of my MNL file. 😉
