Could not find Hardware group, so will start here.
XP3, Pentium 4, NVIDIA FX5500, LDD2004.
A month ago or so I began having trouble with the display. Even small moves or copies lurch erratically and accurate placement is almost impossible. Drawings are in the 3-5 Meg class. I have double checked all snap settings (off). It would seem to be a memory problem with the graphics card, maybe.
Any suggestions?

OK, problem solved. Did all the recommended stuff (like removing startup programs) and there was a slight but noticeable improvement. Finally remembered basic troubleshooting advice: Check Connections. Turned off computer, opened same, identified graphics card, disconnected monitor cable, removed card, reinstalled card, attached monitor, lifted a little prayer to N'vi'dia, god of graphics and restarted. Perfect.
