"Assertion Failed: Abort=Quit, Retry=Debug, Ignore=Continue" error

Hi,

When clicked on layer properties manager i get the following error message. 

Red Property failed;  CER defect 108/5537 reproduced1

at ConfigurationSectionOnRegistry.ReadProperty(String name, Object defaultValue)    

at LayerManagerContro,Persistence(Boolean bSave,IConfigurationSection pref)

at PaletteHost,Persistence(Boolean bShow)

at PaletteHost,RunESW(LayerFilter filter)

at Commands,LayerESW()

at Commands,RunLayer()

atCommandClass.InvokeWorker(MethodInfor mi, Object commandObject, Boolean bLispFunction)

at CommandClass,InvokeWorkerWithExceptionFilter(MethodInfo mi, Object commandObject, Boolean bLispFunction)

at PerDocumentCommandClass,Invoke(MethodInfo mi, Boolean bLispFunction)

at CommandThunk,Invoke()

I have clicked abort, debug, and ignore...  program closes.

Have also done a repair with no success.  Any help would be appreciated.
