PP Error message rears its ugly head!

Hi all,

After doing a search on this DG, I found that this topic was last brought up
about 3 years ago. I have a LDT 2007 box that 'all of a sudden' started
doing this. The machine is basically inoperable for any Civil functions. for
those who don't know what I'm referring to:

PP Message File error
ZQ mesage File error
Unable to load message files
ADS request error

NOW, this situation has spread to another machine doing the exact same
thing! Does ANYONE know why this occurs, how to fix it, and how to stop it
from doing it inthe future?

Any replies GREATLY appreciated!

With out doing any research on it I will take a wild guess and say you
updated your anti-virus software and it is blocking or keeping LDT from
running one or two macros that read/write to the projects database.

Since our machines are networked and we have one master Antivirus rollout
(when an update happens, it gets rolled out to all clients), then ALL CAD
machines would have that problem. Since it is only two out all of them, I
would rule that out. But thanks for responding.

More shots in the dark. Nothing very good with a QUICK Google.

Is this with LDT commands or Civil Design commands. If CD, do you have
enough licenses

Do you have read/write permissions on the work folders

Is a firewall blocking anything

My only fix at this time is to do a complete uninstall of ALL CAD programs
and reinstall them again. My reseller and Autodesk are actively looking into
this.
