style (softdesk 8 points)... does it? where?

They're not actually 'converted' - it's a label style. Look under you point
labels and you'll see the one you need. Simply apply this label (to a specific
layer) to all the displayed points and you have the old point blocks...

In the future, please post support questions to the appropriate forum. This one
is for customization questions and dialog - not support.

Thanks....

Hi Steve,

Why not do the tutorial on Point display ? It will answer all your
questions and make you a more powerful user.

In the Land Palette, >> LABELS >> LABEL SETTINGS >> POINT LABELS >> set to style
- 'softdesk point block only'

In the Land Palette, >> POINTS >> INSERT POINTS TO DRAWING >> choose a method in
the command line area to set the points to 'convert' or insert as the old point
block.

Not too hard, eh?

Laurie and Karl are two of the best helpers here. Might I add that if you prefer the old Softdesk Point Blocks, that you consider adding intelligence to the default point label style definition by toggling on the Description Key options and setting the default insertion layer to "DescKey" so that the point blocks end up on the layer prescribed in your Description keys.
