Mouse customization in LD2009

Question - In LD2005 I was able to customize my second mouse bottom to list the specific tools i use most (see attached: portion acad.mns). The specific portion of the .mns is, "***POP502"
Is there any way to achieve this in LD2009 with the CUI? I have tried for the past couple of years without suggest in LD2006 & LD2007).
PLEASE HELP!

This may not help but,

what I do is use the ACCELERATORS section of my menu to assign ALT-*
keystrokes for certain functions then use my Logitech mouse utilities menu
to assign them there.
