Linetypes not working

Using ldd4.
We have a linetype for our limits of construction called "LOC" in the
linetype. for some reason it will not display correctly. All settings are
normal. fonts are not scaled, we use 0 as the size and romans as the font.
when you draw a pline with it it shows as a hidden linetype with txt the
txt so small you can not see it. lts is 1 in paper space, linetype scale is
1. also other dwgs do not do this.
any thoughts?

Could it be your PSLTSCALE is not set for ltscale of 1?

Obect's LTscale has not been overriden via properties?

Have your tried reloading the linetype?

I had a drawing once where it had a dashed linetype that wouldn't display right, and when I finally reloaded it from the acad.lin file and it worked. Someone had apparently modified the dashed linetype in their acad.lin file and loaded it.
