trying to find a lighting software to do photometric plans. Downloaded Dialux
and the trial version of AGI32. It seems to me that Dialux can meet most of
our needs, except that it can not import 3D faces build in LDD. However, when
I tried to import a road surface build in LDD to AGI32 and put calculation
grids on it, it crashes the software everytime I try. My question is how many
people really using the accurate surface in lighting design? or they just
build a simple one in the lighting software itself? or most people simply
ignore the grade change throughout the site? I'm using the lighting software
on mainly exterior lighting design. Any suggestions which software to
choose?
