I finally installed LDC 2009 and was really looking forward to checking out the ribbon functions. When I turn on the ribbon I get the message "The Ribbon does not have any tabs or panels currently loaded"
Does anyone know if this is a problem with my install, or is the ribbon only for vanilla AutoCAD (Honestly, I didn't pay much attention to the release notes, I got sick of looking forward to functionality that didn't work right)
The Ribbon was new to Autocad 2009. It was never incorporated into LDT. C3D didn't get the Ribbon until the 2010 release. You can edit the CUI to bring in the Autocad Ribbon, but you won't have any LDT specific panels or tabs to play with.
