images printing as solid black

I am having a problem printing objects in my drawing which are either tiff images or a block created using wipeout. The exterior shape is there but the entire inside of it is black rather than showing the images portion of it. The block object is created to give a mask effect where it is placed in the drawing, you can read the text within it but not anything behind it. I hope that I am explaining this correctly. If I print to pdf I do not have the issue. any helpt would be appreciated

Wondering if you have a wipeout to block out the tiff. I know of details sheets being used over and over and instead of deleting the images or details you don't want to show, a wipeout is created to mask whats beneath. Turn on your wipeout frames and see if that is your issue. If not then you may want to post your drawing since trouble shooting would be difficult when it is drawing related.

It's probably a printer driver issue. Start by making sure you've got the
latest ones. With Oce, 1.14 worked, 1.16 didn't (black images), 1.17 worked
but had other problems, 1.18 seems to have it handled (knocking on wood
grain, textured laminate)
