Heap error

I'm running Land Development Desktop Companion 2007 and I'm getting an error, "Heap error detected. Would you like to break in the debugger?" It happened after I created an Alignment, then ran the profile. It prevented saving the drawing, and came up when opening another drawing within the same application. Now it appears whenever I try anything.

I have never seen this or heard of it. I would try repairing all
installations and make sure you have the latest SP's installed.

I have all of the latest updates and patches installed on my LDT 2007 and get the same error every day. I can not establish a pattern to it. Sometimes it is appears after inserting a Polyface mesh. Sometimes it appears while viewing it in 3d orbit and sometimes before I even get to that point. Upon auditing, sometimes it says that the Polyface mesh is in error and erases it! Apparently the patch intended to fix this 3d orbit problem did not take care of all of the problems.

It sounds like an issue with the video processing.

Make sure the video card has the latest drivers, check to see if it is on
the Certified Hardware List for AutoCAD 07.
Make sure that Hardware Acceleration is enabled (type 3dconfig & hit the
Manual Tune button), it's disabled for my video cards out-of-the-box.

I have never had a great deal of luck w/ polyface meshes, especially on
large or complex tins. They have always dogged my pc down fast. Do you have
the issue if you view 3dfaces instead of a polyface mesh?

SP 2A was just released and it suppose to address a number of root AutoCAD
07 bugs. Do you have this installed?
