Gravel Hatch Pattern

We are attempting to hatch using the gravel hatch, which is part of the
acad.pat file. The pattern comes out wrong when we use it, even though all
the other hatch patterns in the acad.pat file work well. We used the same
acad.pat file in ADT 3.3 and it works well, just in LDD 3.3 it comes out
wrong. I reinstalled the acad.pat file and tried it on a new file. Then I
opened our drawing file and tried to hatch and the gravel hatch again did
not work. Can anyone say why.
Thanks for your help,
Wesley

Try setting "snapbase" close to your hatch area.

Along with what my friend Bill said, just be aware that when you come up to
the level of 2K6 and beyond this is now incorporated into the BHATCH
command.

is snap base a setting like ltscale would be or is it a setting with the
bhatch command. I can't see how to use this.
Thanks,
Wes

Just type SNAPBASE at the command prompt.

Then you can either enter the XY coordinate values, or pick a point
on-screen.

It doesn't even need to be attached to a Line or Curve or anything of that
nature.

in paperspace, I moved all my entities closer to 0,0 & re-hatch the area. That should do it.
