Fatal Error when using the open command

LDT 2007 crashes when I use the open command, need help!!
I get a "Fatal Error: Unhandled c000000dh Exception at 781476d9h". When I even go to under the file pull down and try to open I get this fatal error.

are you using a network storage device, such as a snap server or an NAS? There have been issues reported with these types of devices. If this is the issue, please try to update the bios on the device. Also keep an eye on the AutoCAD site for a Technical Solution that addresses this same error.

Yes i have installed the service pack, and I usually keep rebooting and re-starting. I have noticed that I get bumped off the server more often than before. I need to check about the other item that you had mentioned.
