Cross-sections, sheet manager, and pipes

I have a cross-section sheet manager sheet style that labels a variety of template pcodes - eop, row, curb, saw-cuts, lane-lines, etc.

I have also included piperun labeling in the sheet style.

My road is about 2 miles long, and I am processing sections every 50' (about 240' wide).

If I process the sheets without the piperun information, I get about 180 sections in about 5-10 minutes.

If I include the piperun lableing, sheet manager takes several, several hours to process. I had about 15 sections in 10 hours last night.

Does anyone know how piperun data is processed with sheet manaager? And if there are any tricks to speeding up the process.
