Creating points

I have a alignment created along the centerline of a stream. I have created a profile and cross sections. The cross sections are sampled for 2000' left and right of centerline. I need to have points placed every 50' along these sample lines. Is there a way to create these points from the cross sections. I also need to create an ascii file from the points.

Is that 2000ft long or 4000 feet wide?

Wow thats quite a swath!

If that is the width - transition alignments are outof the question. But if
you create a cl poly line with verts every station then offset 50 feet l&R
for 2000ft you can then place points auto at the verts & extract the ground
ele via stratums.

thats one way - I' quite sure there are many other ways too.
