No...we are still having to address the multiple view/scale issue using
multiple contours on different layers. Once the contours are created and
labeled, you simply run a layer copy to a scaled layer...say C20-Cont-Minr &
C20-Cont-Majr. Then we have pre-defined contour styles based on scale using
a label text style set to 0 height...let the contour style define the text
style for that scale. Example 20-Contour sets text height to 2. Reset the
copied contours to that style for use in a 20-scale viewport. So we still
deal with multiple contours on top of each other isolated by layer. With
the smart objects in AutoCAD now, I do not know why AutoDesk cannot have
text labels automatically display based on viewport scale just like
linetypes do....but if I knew how to do this...I wouldn't be asking so many
questions (grin). If there is a better work-around to this...please post!!
