Civil Design training

Are there any short courses (1 or 2 day) available. Avatech has a couple,
but classes are cancelled due to lack of attendees. All my training to date
has been "self taught", however my employer has offered to pay for the
training, so I would like to take a short cut to the ins and outs of Civil.
Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Not knowing your location or how far you are willing to travel...

You can locate either an ATC or an ASC / Reseller in your area.

You might also consider going to Autodesk University

I should have mentioned my locale. I am in West Palm Beach, Florida. Any

Depending on your needs I have found 1 day courses in civil design a waste of time. A single day is just not enough time especially if there are others in the class. If you can swing it at work try for more extensive training it will be money well spent. Also be sure to talk with instructors prior to attending to be sure you are getting your needs met. Good Luck

We offer a 2-day Civil class - 2 1/2 days if it includes Sheet Manager.

Check out http://www.k-teksolutions.com/index.html, Pete Kelsey has good LDD

The tutorials in the program under the help menu can be very useful also. There is also a great book out called "Harnessing AutoCAD Land Development Desktop" by Phillip Zimmerman that you might find helpful. I know I have. Good luck.
