And the CCOs produced from a Surface aren't normally included in the "list
of entities" used to put it "together", as it were abc2006.
I normally think of them as a "by-product". ;0)

The contours the TME is referring to would be contours (AEC Objects or
Polylines) that you would want to use to create a DTM. say you got a plan
that only had contours in it. No points or 3D polylines and you wanted to
create a surface.
Right-click on Contours in the TME and select Add Contour Data.

Sovled the label issue...it worked (must have been from rebooting my
computer or something). Since that worked I thought maybe the Terrain
Explorer would now acknowledge that there were contours in the
drawing....but it still is saying there are 0 contours.
Only question now is how I get "readable" contours into my drawing.
