Installation Failed

I downloaded the program and ran got a Installation Failed window saying to visit http://autodesk.com/support for help.
I am running on Vista Home Premium.
I'm hoping to try this out then recommend it to a couple engineers I work with.

I'm sorry that you're having trouble installing Cooper.

During the installation, the installer displays several different status messages (as it downloads and installs several components). Are you able to accept the EULA (End User License Agreement)? If so, are you able to tell which message it is on when the installation fails?

Also, where are you located?

Thanks, this will help us troubleshoot your problem.

I do accept the EULA then it runs the next screen through the entire green bar
but then it flashes and stats the bar over again with the same info something
like: Installing microsoft visual c++ 2008 and some .NET stuff. The green just
spans across untill the Installation Failed message appears.

PLEASE REPLY ALL SO MY HOME EMAIL GETS THIS.I AM INSTALLING IT ON MY HOME LAP
TOP.

Note that I have downloaded the exe not running the install from the site.

Hello,

I don't have access to your home email so can't reply directly. Could please email me the file "ProjectCooperSetup.log" that is located in your Windows Temp directory. Email it to michael.nauman@autodesk.com. This will allow us to see where the install is failing and provide you with some guidance.

Thanks,

I could not find the file. Searched the entire harddrive. Could it be called something else?

Installation failed for me too. Started bootstrap installer from autodesk labs, download finished, installation finished and got failed installation.

No log file anywhere. No error message.

Windows XP SP3 with MS installer 4.5. AutoCAD 2011 beta works flawless, so I believe everything needed is there.
