Import 3D model

I have received a 3D file in two formats - with a .PLY and .OBJ extensions. The contents should be the same. How to import it into AutoCAD?

PLY and OBJ files can be opened and converted in Autodesk Meshmixer and ReMake. There are also other ways for OBJ:

But the easiest way should be using the OBJ2DWG freeware app for AutoCAD - it adds OBJ import to AutoCAD - see:
