Hi,

You're trying to open a CAD file that is currently in use or is read-only ..Ensure that the drawing is not in use by somebody else .. I suggest to follow this link that may help . >> Click <<

Find out if it's read only and use WHOHAS (command) with another opened drawing.

use Yes, save as another name and work on it ☺

@budharamrohidas940 "sample" files are read-only so you do not accidentally ruin them: that's all.

You can SAVEAS to somewhere else on your PC then edit and save them as much as you want from there.
