Blueprint effect

I was trying to make a 'blueprint' .pdf of a .dwg and finally figured out a way to fake it through Bluebeam Revu. It was much faster and easier than messing around with hatches/block/wipeouts/etc.. Hopefully it can be helpful to other as well.

  1. Open .dwg
  2. Plot pdf
  3. Open pdf in bluebeam/revu
  4. Document > Color Processing
  5. Process type: Black and White
  6. Save As an imagefile (.tiff, jpeg, .png,….)
  7. Open image in bluebeam/revu
  8. Document > Color Processing
  9. Process type: Colorize
  10. Select Color: White > To: 0,63,127 R,G,B (aka 156 in autocad)
  11. Check the “Process Images” box
  12. Save As .pdfBlueprint.png
