Hi. I don't know if anyone can help me but I'm using Autocad LT 2013 for Mac and when i print A1 drawings to my HP large format printer it prints at A1 but with an additional strip of blank paper to the top. I have to cut each drawing down and it's really annoying! Is there a simple way i can resolve this?
Your help would be appreciated!
Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!
Which HP plotter do you have?
Usually plotters have unprintable margins on the top and on the bottom of the page (even if you are using roll).
If you are using HP plotter driver, you can search in options something like "paper saving" option, but it depends on plotter driver capabilities.

Thanks Maxim. It's a HP design jet T520?
Many thanks,

HI,
How long is this strip at the top?
Are you are using Roll or Single sheets?
If you are using Roll - did you set it as source media in plotter settings?
I have found Tech specs for DesignJet T520, they read (relative to the margins) as
Margins (top x bottom x left x right)
Roll: 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 mm (0.2 x 0.2 x 0.2 x 0.2 in)
Sheet: 5 x 17 x 5 x 5 mm (0.2 x 0.67 x 0.2 x 0.2 in)
So officially you can have 17 mm (0.67 in) blank margin on one side if you are using sheet or if you are using Roll, but in plotter settings you leave sheet as media type.
