unknown command "pasteclip" autocad student 2013

Everytime i type command C it seems like autocad is coping the item, however when i type command V:

autocad messaje: clipboard is empty

Command: _copyclip
Pick base point: *Cancel*
; error: Function cancelled

please help me, I am a student and i really need to use this command

Don't you mean "ctrl-c" for copy?

If that doesn't work, you can use the command COPYCLIP and PASTECLIP to copy and paste, respectively.
